I just wanted to get my own thread going on the new message board.
Ultimate frisbee is neither Ultimate nor frisbee.
Discuss.

Given the ultimate is a subjective term and enthusiast of other sports would probably debate the 'ultimate-ness' of ultimate, we can not definitively say that ultimate is ultimate. Nor can we say that ultimate is frisbee as that is a copy righted name by the Wham-o corrporation refring to a specific disc shaped object they manufacture, which no self respecting ultimate player would use. So in conclusion, ultimate frisbee is neither definitively ultimate nor is it frisbee. We are left then with the question of what to call the sport formerly known as ultimate frisbee. How about a nice game of flatball?

...which is neither flat, nor in anyway reminiscent of a ball...
How about a game of "specially molded plastic"?
